About

Taladro, real name Abdullah Evgi, is a Turkish rapper and songwriter born in Adana in 1991. He discovered rap music in 1999 through Eminem and later followed influential names in Turkish rap, particularly Ceza, while developing his own musical identity. During his school years, he lived in Mersin and Antakya, and in 2006 he began writing his own lyrics and recording music at home.

Working independently in his early years, Taladro soon built a following with his distinctive storytelling and emotional approach. Tracks such as “Kendine İyi Bak”, “Kelebek”, “Deniz Kızı”, “Sihir”, “Risale” and “Geceler” resonated strongly with Turkish rap listeners. From 2011 onward, his work reached a wider audience, while his direct lyrics about emotions and everyday experiences helped him establish a distinct place in the scene.

Love, separation, longing and the personal side of life are recurring themes in Taladro’s music, while social inequality and justice also find a place in his writing from time to time. His music is shaped not only by its rap production, but also by strong storytelling and emotionally charged lyrics.

Throughout his career, Taladro has collaborated with artists including Sancak, Canfeza, Cem Adrian, Ece Mumay, RASH and Irmak Arıcı. His 2020 album Uçurtma featured Ece Mumay on the title track and Cem Adrian on “Unutmak İstemiyorum”. The album brought his melancholic and emotional style together with different vocal and musical textures.

Today, Taladro continues to create music and perform for audiences as one of the distinctive storytellers of the Turkish hip-hop and rap scene, carrying forward the loyal following he has built over the years and his emotionally driven approach to rap.
